Energy Loss: There are no grain boundary inside the Single Crystal
metal. All crystal metals have grain boundaries inside their structure. Usually,
grain boundary serves as a defective in metal and absorbs energy when the clubhead
hits the ball. So, with single crystal as the cluhhead face, there is less energy
loss during hitting.
